USC nabbed its first Pac-12 win and handed Arizona State its first loss of the season, in the Trojans' 41-20 victory over the Sun Devils on Saturday night. Trojan quarterback Sam Darnold passed for 352 yards and three TDs, while JuJu Smith-Schuster caught seven passes for 123 yards and a career-high tying three TDs for the Trojans. Arizona State kicker Zane Gonzalez made his 86th career field goal late in the first quarter, setting the Pac-12 record for career field goals made.
