John Jackson Jr. perseveres through stroke, watches his son John Jackson III play at USC

May 18, 2024

John Jackson Jr. represents the middle of a three-generation family of USC football. His father, John Jackson Sr., walked the sidelines as an assistant coach, and now the former USC wide receiver and radio analyst's son, John Jackson III, plays for the Trojans. In December of 2018, Jackson Jr. suffered a major stroke, a condition that doctors called "life or death". Since then, his recovery has been inspired by the dream of seeing his son run out of the tunnel at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. 'Our Stories' follows the Jackson family throughout their incredible journey to that point. Catch this, and the rest of the 'Our Stories' features Wednesday, Oct. 2 at 7 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. MT on Pac-12 Network.
