Oregon welcomed new head baseball coach Mark Wasikowski at an introductory press conference Friday in Eugene, Oregon. The former Purdue head coach led the Boilermakers to a 39-win season and only the third NCAA Regional appearance in school history and only the second since 1982. Wasikowski also served as an assistant at Oregon for five seasons that saw the Ducks compile a 205-106 (.659) record and advanced to postseason play four times, including the 2012 Super Regionals.
