Stanford softball defeated Washington 1-0 to advance to Women's College World Series semifinals in Oklahoma City on June 4, 2023. NiJaree Canady threw a complete game shutout for the Cardinal. She allowed one hit and struck out nine batters. Stanford's Kylie Chung had the lone RBI of the game with a single in the sixth. Washington's Ruby Meylan pitched well and struck out five.
