No. 1 Washington softball used a late rally to come-from-behind and take down No. 17 South Carolina on Saturday night in Clearwater, Florida. Down 4-2 with two outs in the sixth-inning and runners on second and third, freshmen Kelley Lynch laced a line-drive single to tie the game at 4. One batter later, Livy Schiele knocked in Lynch on a misplayed infield single to give the Huskies a lead they would no relinquish. With the victory, Washington improves to a sparkling 9-1 on the young season.
