Oregon State's Jacob Melton has been named the 2022 Pac-12 Player of the Year after hitting .361 with a league-leading 71 RBIs for the Beavers. The junior is ranked in the top 10 in the Pac-12 in several categories including second in stolen bases (19), third in doubles (20), fourth in runs (57), fifth in home runs (15), seventh in hits (75), tenth in on-base percentage (.429). Melton is the third Oregon State player to win the award in the past six years.
