Oregon State's Jade Carey was named the Pac-12 Gymnastics Freshman of the Week, presented by Pacific Premier Bank, for March 1. Carey tied her career-high all-around score of 39.825 in a victory over then-No. 19 Stanford, tying her Oregon State record that she set back earlier this season against Arizona State back on Feb. 5. Carey claimed titles in all five individual events; all-around (39.825), vault (9.95), bars (9.95), beam (9.925) and floor (10.0). Carey's Perfect 10 on floor was her second on the event and third during her career after scoring a 10.0 on bars against ASU. This is her third straight week being named the Conference's freshman of the week, as well as her fifth of the season.
