Oregon State's Madi Dagen earned the Pac-12 Gymnastics Coaches Choice of the Week award, presented by Pacific Premier Bank, for Feb. 8. The senior captain has continued to learn and push herself on her bar routine to help better the Oregon State Beavers. Against No. 21 ASU she boasted a personal-best 9.90 on the apparatus. Over the last year and a half, Dagen has continued to work on the Tkatchev release, which has upgraded her bar routine to a 10.0 this season. Dagen claimed second in three events behind teammate Jade Carey: vault (9.90), bars (9.90), and floor (9.925). Dagen's career-high 39.550 all-around performance against ASU was second behind Carey and third overall last week in the Pac-12.
