Maia Rader nabs Pac-12 Softball Freshman of the Week honors on Monday, April 29. After batting ninth all weekend, Rader finished 6-for-8 with a 1.125 slugging percentage. On Friday, Rader finished 1-for-1 with two RBIs in the second inning to help Oregon State extend the lead to 3-0, and the Beavers never looked back, run-ruling the Ducks in five innings. She matched her season-high three hits on Saturday, leading off the second inning with a single into right center and cracked a doubled down the line before stealing third base in the top of the fifth. On the defensive side, Rader made impressive fielding plays all series long, collecting eight assists and four putouts for an .857 fielding percentage.
