May 10, 2024

Danielle Lawrie’s competitive drive is second to none, and in 2006 she brought that mindset to the University of Washington with her sights set on breaking numerous pitching records and a National Championship. Lawrie had a 2009 season to remember, and with her parents in the stands she pitched the final out to give the Huskies their first-ever NCAA softball crown. Lawrie continued her dominance in the circle for Team Canada. After a humbling 2008 Olympic experience, she found redemption in the 2020 Olympic games by capturing the bronze medal, displaying perseverance to serve as a role model for her children and the next generation of players.
