The top-15 battle lived up to its billing, coming down to an all-important fifth set in front of a raucous Washington crowd. The Bruins jumped out to a 2-0 lead, winning back-to-back 25-21 sets to open the match. But the Huskies did not give up, taking the third set 25-13 and the fourth 27-15. The two teams traded scores in a back-and-fourth fifth set but the Huskies got the upper hand, taking the set 15-12 and earning a huge win against a conference foe.
