Despite the Bruins saving five set points in the second set and coming out strong in the third with an 8-3 lead, No. 18 UCLA is swept by No. 2 Stanford at Maples Pavilion. Cardinal outside hitter Kathryn Plummer dominated the net with 17 kills and a .435 hitting percentage, while outside hitter Mac May led the Bruins with nine kills and hit .333. Stanford extends its winning streak to nine straight matches, and improves its home winning streak to 24 straight matches, the longest active streak in the country.
