Pac-12 Networks' Krista Blunk and Mary Murphy recap the Top 25 battle in Tempe between No. 6 Stanford and No. 19 Arizona State, resulting with a 72-65 Cardinal victory. ASU found its stride in the third quarter, nearly erasing a 12-point deficit with less than three minutes left in the period, but couldn't get an edge over the Cardinal. Stanford's DiJonai Carrington was a force to reckon with under the basket, grabbing 11 rebounds, and also drained an incredible half court shot at the end of the third quarter, while Alanna Smith led with 25 points (9-15 from the field), six boards and two assists to help extend Stanford's perfect record in conference play (3-0).
