Pac-12 Networks' Ann Schatz breaks down the action from Oregon softball's 2-0 win over in-state rival Oregon State on Thursday night in Corvallis. Brooke Yanez was phenomenal in the victory, pitching a complete game shutout and recording 15 strikeouts while only allowing three hits. The offense got started early for the Ducks, when Haley Cruse sent the first pitch of the game over the left-field wall for a leadoff homer. But Oregon State starter Mariah Mazon calmed down from there to record seven solid innings while only allowing two runs. It was an effort that would usually be worthy of a win, had Yanez not overpowered the Beavers' offense so completely.
