Oregon superstar Sabrina Ionescu was unanimously named the 2020 AP Women's College Basketball Player of the Year for her outstanding senior season in Eugene. As part of her final campaign, Ionescu set the NCAA career triple-double record and became the first player in college history to have 2,000 points, 1,000 rebounds and 1,000 assists. Earlier, she earned a spot on The Associated Press women’s basketball All-America team as a unanimous choice from the national media, as well as being named the Pac-12 Women's Basketball Player of the Year. She is just the second ever to be given the award unanimously after former UConn star Breanna Stewart.
