Samantha Noennig posts a mark of 18.14m (59 ft. 6 1/4 in.) during Thursday's competition at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Austin, Texas, to complete a season sweep of the NCAA indoor and outdoor shot put titles. Noennig entered the meet as the fifth seed but rocketed to the front of the pack on her fifth throw. The sophomore took the title by three centimeters.
