Sophomore transfer Samantha Sakti, competing in her first meet for UCLA, scored a 9.95 on balance beam at the Collegiate Challenge to win Pac-12 Specialist of the Week honors for Jan. 7. Sakti's routine earned a 10.0 from one of the judges. Sakti arrived in Westwood during the offseason from William & Mary.
