Shawn Poindexter has shown his abilities to be a leader on the field for Arizona football as he leads the team in receiving yards (660) and touchdowns (10). The 6-foot-5 redshirt senior began using his size and athleticism toward a stellar volleyball career before switching to football at Glendale Community College. Now starring for the Wildcats, Poindexter is utilizing his leadership in other forms, like pursuing the goal of opening a sports facility for at-risk youth.
