After notching a hit in all six games over her first collegiate weekend of play, UCLA freshman Maya Brady earns Pac-12 Softball Freshman and Player of the Week honors. Brady – who played center field and second base over the weekend – homered in four of her first five contests, including three in a row across Feb. 8 and 9. She both scored a run and drove in a run in five of six games and stole two bases as the Bruins advanced to a 6-0 record to open the season.
