USC quarterback Kedon Slovis earned Pac-12 Football Offensive Player of the Year after his historic debut season with the Trojans. Slovis broke the USC freshman passing record with 3,242 pass yards, en route to a 7-3 record as a starter. He also tied USC's record with four games of 400+ passing yards. Slovis' marquee performance came against crosstown rival UCLA, when the true freshman passed for an outstanding 515 yards, becoming the first-ever Trojan to break 500 passing yards in a single game. Slovis is the first USC player to win Pac-12 Offensive Freshman of the Year since Sam Darnold in 2016.
