USC freshman Onyeka Okongwu collects his first Pac-12 Men's Basketball weekly honors as the league's first dual recipient of Player and Freshman of the Week awards as voted on by media who cover the league. Okongwu averaged 25.0 points on 58 percent shooting (14-24 FG) along with 5.5 rebounds and 3.5 blocks this week. The 6-9 forward erupted for a career-best 33 points in a 91-84 victory over Pepperdine. He shot 8-of-11 from the field and 17-of-21 at the foul line. He also added 17 points, six rebounds and five blocks in a 70-61 loss to unbeaten Temple.
