Utah’s Mariah Lopez named Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week, presented by Rawlings. Won all three of her starts, going 17.0 innings with 20 strikeouts and one earned. Struck out eight over four innings in the win at Weber State (8-0), conceding just three hits. Toss six innings on Friday against Arizona State (W, 9-3), allowing one earned while striking out five. Threw a complete-game shutout on Sunday (W, 4-0), fanning seven while allowing just four baserunners to seal the series sweep for the Utes. Third Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week honor for Lopez, and her first this season.
