Washington OF Sami Reynolds helped guide the Huskies to a series sweep of Stanford over the weekend, securing the team a share of the 2019 Pac-12 Softball Championship and earning her Pac-12 Freshman of the Week honors. Reynolds became the first Husky freshman in over a decade with three extra-base hits in single game and drove in a two-run homer in Washington’s championship-clinching win on Saturday. She connected at the plate consistency in the stretch run with hits in six of her last seven games, including six multi-RBI games in the last ten. Washington earned a No. 3 seed in the 2019 NCAA Softball Tournament, and is set to host Fordham in the Seattle regional on May 17th.
