Washington's Gabbie Plain was named Pac-12 Softball Pitcher of the Week for May 2. Plain recorded two complete-game outings, while notching a shutout to help the Huskies to a series sweep of then-No. 21 Stanford. Plain logged 16 strikeouts in 14 innings, including nine against the Cardinal on Sunday, her most since March 12 against Colorado State (14). She has now recorded seven consecutive victories, while also only allowing one earned run in her last five games.
