Despite a career-high-tying 16-point performance from senior Charnea Johnson-Chapman and a 50-percent shooting effort in the second half, the No. 19 Arizona State women's basketball team came up short in its attempt to knock off sixth-ranked Stanford as the Sun Devils fell to the Cardinal 72-65 on Friday night.
For the first time in more than a month, the No. 19 Arizona State women's basketball team will play consecutive games at home when it hosts No. 6 Stanford (Friday at 7 p.m.) and No. 24 Cal (Sunday at 5 p.m.) this weekend at Wells Fargo Arena.
