KINGSTON SPRINGS, Tenn. – Incoming women's golf Husky Alice Duan started the match play segment of the 2018 U.S. Women's Amateur Championship with a bang taking a 4 & 3 victory over Stanford's Ziyi Wang on Wednesday.

KINGSTON SPRINGS, Tenn. – Incoming women's golf Husky Alice Duan may not have matched her day one score at the U.S. Women's Amateur Championship but she carded a 2-over 74 for a two-day stroke play total of 1-under 141 (68-73). She tied for 33rd which easily advanced her to the match play portion of the event, the Round of 64, which begins on Wednesday.

The event, which runs from Aug. 6-12, is taking place at the Golf Club of Tennessee in Kingston Springs.
