ust a few months removed from being a student-athlete at the University of Colorado, Brittany Fan won her first women's golf tournament as a professional on Friday, shooting a 5-under 211 at the Mission Hills-Shore Tournament.

Haley Nist, a senior transfer from Oregon State, won the 2018 Idaho Women's State Amateur on Saturday, July 21, at Shadow Valley Golf Club. This is the second time she has won the event as she also took home the trophy in 2014.    

University of Colorado women's golf coach Anne Kelly announced the team's 2018-19 schedule on Friday, which will feature five fall events and five spring events leading into the postseason.  

Senior Gillian Vance has qualified for the U.S. Women's Amateur, while incoming freshman Kelsey Webster was in the hunt for the final qualifying spot but ended up as the second alternate.

Incoming Colorado freshman Kelsey Webster placed third at the 2018 Colorado Golf Association Women's Stroke Play Championship Friday in Parker.

Robin Choi, Yannik Paul, Erin Clark, Zach Perrin and Val Constein each collected UCHealth CU Athlete of the Week honors during the months of May and June. Golfers Robyn Choi and Yannik Paul were recognized for the week of May 14-20 after their outstanding performances at NCAA competitions. Then, during the week of May 21-27, senior distance runners Erin Clark and Zach Perrin earned the honor for stellar showings at the NCAA West Preliminary meet. In the final week of Colorado's athletic season (June 4-10), Val Constien took home athlete of the week honors after a top-5 finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase NCAA Championship.
