Ute Gymnasts to Meet UCLA, LSU, Michigan in NCAA Semifinals

INDIANAPOLIS—The NCAA has announced the semifinal fields for the 2019 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championship in Fort Worth, Texas, on Friday, Apr. 19 and Utah will face No. 2 UCLA, No. 3 LSU and No. 7 Michigan at noon CT/11 a.m. MT in the Fort Worth Convention Center Arena. Competing in the second semifinal at 6 p.m. CT on Apr. 19 are No. 1 Oklahoma, No. 5 Denver, No 8 Georgia and No. 15 Oregon State.

Utes Beam Their Way into NCAA Championship

BATON ROUGE—The Utah gymnasts are heading to the national championship for a record 44th-consecutive year after a pressure-packed performance on the balance beam in the final rotation. Holding a razor-thin 0.125 lead over Minnesota going into the beam, all six Utes hit clutch routines to secure second place and a trip to the NCAA Championship. Advancing out of the Baton Rouge Regional with Utah (197.250) was winner LSU (197.500). Rounding out the field were Minnesota (196.900) and Auburn (195.725).

Ute Gymnasts Compete in NCAA Regional Final Tonight

BATON ROUGE—The No. 6 ranked Utah gymnastics team competes tonight for the right to advance to a record 44th-consecutive national championship at 7:00 CT/6:00 MT in the Baton Rouge Regional final. Competing against Utah (19-4) in the regional final are No. 3 LSU, No. 11 Minnesota and No. 14 Auburn. The top two finishers will earn a berth in the NCAA Championship in Fort Worth, Texas, Apr. 19-20.

Ute Gymnasts Win Their Regional Semi, Advance to Final

BATON ROUGE, La.—The Utah gymnasts are advancing to the Baton Rouge Regional final after winning their semifinal session today. The No. 6 Utes scored a 196.800 to beat No. 11 Minnesota (196.300), Arkansas (196.175) and BYU (195.550). In tomorrow's final, Utah and Minnesota will square off against the top two finishers from tonight's semifinal competition between No. 3 LSU, No. 14 Auburn, Arizona State and George Washington. Tomorrow's regional final will start at 6 p.m. MT and will be broadcast on SECN+ and ESPN 700 radio.
