The USC women's swimming and diving squad, coming off a fast season-opening Trojan Invite, sets it sights on Dallas it looks to defend its 2017 title at the 2018 SMU Classic, Friday and Saturday (Oct. 12-13).
Seniors Alex Valente and Riley Scott and junior Louise Hansson all won twice to lead the USC men's and women's swimming teams during the two-session final day of the Trojan Invite on Saturday (Oct. 6) at the Uytengsu Aquatics Center.
The Trojans' kicked off the 2018-19 season with the first session of the 2018 Trojan Invite on Friday (Oct. 5) with USC's pair of Swedish Trojans, Louise Hansson and Victor Johansson, providing two of the highlights at the Uytengsu Aquatics Center.
The scholarship fund that effectually began as a drop in support of USC All-American swimmer Mike Nyeholt, has rippled into its 38th year totaling $21 million raised to grant scholarships to 50 physically challenged athletes at universities from California to New Hampshire. Those physically challenged students are the recipients of resources meant to pave the way for them to overcome their tragedies and realize their full potential.
