The 10th-ranked Husky volleyball team got locked in another defensive struggle today but was up to the challenge, and when the offense got rolling in the fourth set that spelled victory for the Huskies over Arizona in front of 2,444 fans at Alaska Airlines Arena.
Wins never come easy in the Pac-12 and the 10th-ranked Huskies persevered through another intense battle tonight and came out on top, 20-25, 25-20, 25-21, 25-22, over Arizona State at Alaska Airlines Arena.

The Huskies certainly saved their best for last. After dropping the first two sets to an Oregon squad that came out fired up, Washington hit the reset button and took sets three and four before surging out to a big fifth set lead and holding on for the thrilling 3-2 victory.
Husky volleyball returned home for just the second time all season, and earned its first straight set sweep since the prior home match, rolling to a 25-19, 25-16, 25-16 win over Oregon State.
After playing one home match in the first six weeks of the season, the Husky volleyball team gets to play inside Alaska Airlines Arena four times in a 10-day span.
