Bennett, Clarke Lead Beavers in Seattle Sweep

SEATTLE, Wash. – Haylie Bennett and Shekinah Clarke led the Beavers' offense and the Oregon State volleyball team beat Seattle (6-4) in a sweep Saturday evening to conclude the Redhawk Invitational. OSU finished the weekend 3-0 despite playing without four regulars at the outside hitter position throughout the tourney. Kory Cheshire was named as the tournament MVP and Clarke was recognized on the all-tournament team as well.

Depleted Beavers Overcome Zags in Four

SEATTLE, Wash. – The Oregon State volleyball team (5-2), which is depleted this weekend by injuries and illness, overcame a lack of available bodies to defeat Gonzaga (6-3) Saturday afternoon in the Beavers' second match of the Redhawk Invitational. Sixth-year senior Kory Cheshire, who is playing out of position, came through to lead the offense with a career-best 17 kills.

Buffs Fall in Five in Golden Spike Inaugural Match

The University of Colorado women's volleyball team lost a close 3-2 (11-25, 25-23, 25-19, 20-25, 15-7) five-set match against in-state rivals Colorado State Friday evening in the inaugural Golden Spike Trophy match.

Beavers Complete Comeback, Beat Lobos in Five

SEATTLE, Wash. – The Oregon State volleyball team, riddled by injury and illness, completed a comeback bid defeating New Mexico in the teams' opening match at the Redhawk Invitational Friday afternoon. Fifth-year senior Shekinah Clarke enjoyed a career match, tying for the team-lead with 15 kills including the final point of the match to help lead the Beavers with the win.
