See you at football media day: Utah's Trevor Reilly

Jul 24, 2013

Change is in the air in Salt Lake City as the Utes gear up to prove they can top last season's 5-7 record. With Dennis Erickson out of retirement to join the coaching staff and three spots to fill on the defensive line, the Utes are in for an interesting season. With all the changes in store, Kyle Whittingham and his Utes will be turning to veteran players like defensive end Trevor Reilly to lead the team to a successful 2013 campaign.

Reilly, who started every game last year as either a linebacker or defensive end, will undoubtedly be one of the top defensive Utes to watch for on the field. The honorable mention all-conference player led the squad with 69 tackles and added 6.5 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks last season. It's notable to add that 34 of those 69 tackles were solo tackles. The Valley Center, Calif. native has also put seven career forced fumbles in the record books, tying him at third in forced fumbles in school history. The 6-foot-5, 255-pound senior will be a force in 2013.
