Bears Complete Sweep Of Arizona

BERKELEY – Adrienne Gehan has put up some lofty offensive numbers this season, but it’s that same right arm that has produced a lot of kills that got it done behind the service line Friday night. Gehan served seven points in a row in the third set to turn a 19-13 deficit into a 20-19 advantage, and the Cal women’s volleyball team completed a sweep of Arizona, 25-23, 25-14, 25-23 to register its first Pac-12 victory of the season.

Buffs Topple No. 11 UCLA

BOULDER—The University of Colorado played inspiring volleyball on Friday night to defeat No. 11 UCLA in front of a crowd of almost 2,800 at the Coors Events Center 3-2 (27-29, 25-15, 24-26, 25-23, 15-12). 

Stanford Rolls Past ASU

STANFORD, Calif. – The No. 7 Stanford women’s volleyball team swept 16th-ranked Arizona State, 25-17, 25-19, 25-22, Friday, at Maples Pavilion in Stanford, Calif. The Cardinal moves to 9-2 on the season and 2-0 in the Pac-12, while the Sun Devils fall to 12-2 overall and 1-1 in the conference.

Dawgs Ride Fourth Set Blitz, Win At No. 21 Oregon

EUGENE, Ore.  – After surrendering a pair of match points in the third set, and facing yet another huge road crowd of 4,668 at Matthew Knight Arena, the second-ranked Huskies regrouped and played a tremendous set that showed their mettle, racing away with a 25-8 fourth set win to close out 21st-ranked Oregon. Washington (10-0, 2-0 Pac-12) earned its first win at Oregon (8-4, 1-1 Pac-12) since 2009.

Volleyball Takes 3-2 Win at OSU

CORVALLIS, Ore. — Freshman Kyra Holt had 26 kills to lead the Washington State volleyball team (1-1, 14-1) to a thrilling 26-24, 25-20, 20-25, 26-28, 15-9 win over Oregon State (0-2, 9-4) at Gill Coliseum in Corvallis Friday night.
