BOULDER, Colo. – Second-half goals by Courtney Verloo and Taylor Uhl propelled No. 2 Stanford to a 2-0 victory over Colorado in a Pac-12 women’s soccer opener Saturday. Four-time defending champion Stanford (8-0-1 overall, 1-0 Pac-12) extended its conference winning streak to 43 and its Pac-12 road winning streak to 23. The result also kept Stanford unbeaten in its past 13 conference openers.
