Fitzpatrick’s Goals Lift Bears to 2-1 Victory over Sun Devils

BERKELEY – In a game of intensely physical on-field battles, including a red card for the go-ahead penalty kick goal, the No. 11/15 Golden Bears staked their claim to a 2-1 victory over Arizona State with a pair of goals from senior Kaitlyn Fitzpatrick. It was the Golden Bears' 11th-straight game without a loss for an 8-0-3 record as the Sun Devils fell to 6-4-0.

Buffs Defeat OSU For First Pac-12 Home Victory

BOULDER – The season of firsts continues for the University of Colorado soccer team, as the Buffaloes defeated Oregon State 2-1 on Friday at Prentup Field. The victory was the Buffs’ first home win in the Pac-12 since joining the conference in 2011, and their first win over OSU.

Uhl Scores Overtime Winner

STANFORD, Calif. — Taylor Uhl scored with eight seconds left in the first overtime to give No. 2 Stanford a 2-1 victory over Arizona in the Cardinal’s Pac-12 women’s soccer home opener Friday at Laird Q. Cagan Stadium.

No. 3 UCLA Hands Washington State First Loss of Season, 2-0

Los Angeles, Calif. — Third-ranked UCLA scored two second-half goals to hand Washington State its first loss of the season, 2-0 on Friday afternoon. Redshirt sophomore Courtney Proctor netted her first collegiate goal in the 59th minute, and Darian Jenkins added her eighth in the 64th as UCLA improved to 10-1-0, 2-0-0 in Pac-12 play. The Cougars fall to 7-1-3 and 0-1-1 in conference.

Utah Soccer Uses Rigby Header to Beat Oregon, 1-0

SALT LAKE CITY — Katie Rigby's first goal as a Ute gave her side a 1-0 victory over Oregon this evening. The sophomore's header in the second half pushed the Utes to 5-1-5 on the season, 1-0-1 in Pac-12 play.

UW Earns Huge Road Win At USC

LOS ANGELES — Washington earned a huge conference road win, defeating USC 1-0 on Friday afternoon in the Southern California heat. The Dawgs evened their record at 5-5-1, but more importantly stayed unbeaten in conference (1-0-1) after earning a second-straight result on the road.
