Road to the Pac-12 Football Championship Game now runs through Stanford
Thursday's dominant Stanford performance reverberated throughout college football. It also scrambled the picture west of the Rockies; the road to the Pac-12 Football Championship Game had been destined for Eugene but now runs through The Farm. Specifically:
- Stanford wins the Pac-12 North and hosts the FCG if it wins out. The Cardinal have three remaining games, against USC, Cal, and Notre Dame.
- Oregon wins the division and hosts the champ game if it wins out and Stanford loses one or more of its remaining conference games. Oregon plays Utah, Arizona, and Oregon State.
- Arizona State, should it win out, wins the Pac-12 South could host the game if both Oregon and Stanford finish with two conference losses.
