Historic Run For CU Soccer Ends In Sweet 16 At FSU
Despite one of the best regular season in school history — the fifth time winning at least 14 games, starting the year with five shutouts and six wins —Colorado had no answer in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA women’s soccer tournament. Florida State was that good. The No. 3 Seminoles drilled three goals in the first 15 minutes of Saturday’s match en route to a 4-0 triumph over the Buffs.
