The 2014 Pac-12 football schedule is out, and boy are we excited for Thursday, Aug. 28. It's the first day of the 2014 season, and three teams from the Conference of Champions take the field that day. Here's what's in store for Pac-12 football fans:

  • The non-conference schedule includes five Big Ten opponents, 2014 Rose Bowl champion Michigan State, three games with Notre Dame and a UCLA-Texas showdown at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
  • Every football game played at a Pac-12 site will be televised. A combination of the ESPN channels, ABC, FOX and FOX Sports 1 will broadcast 44 games nationally, and Pac-12 Networks will have 35 games.
  • All six traditional rivalry games will be played in the last two weeks of the regular season, followed by the Pac-12 Football Championship Game on Friday, Dec. 5.
