Hoops’ Tour Schedule Features Bright Lights, Big Cities

Jul 6, 2014

An initial look at Oregon’s 2014-15 men’s basketball schedule reads like the Rolling Stones’ latest tour: New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Phoenix, Seattle and of course, Matthew Knight Arena.

While the complete schedule won’t be released until later this summer, the Ducks do know some of their tour stops this winter. In November, Oregon will travel to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., for the finals of the Progressive Legends Classic along with Michigan, Villanova and VCU.

Also in non-conference action, the Ducks will meet Illinois at United Center in Chicago and Mississippi at Matthew Knight Arena.

Once the Pac-12 season kicks into gear, the Ducks will have home-and-home series with Arizona, Arizona State, Oregon State, UCLA, USC, Washington and Washington State. This year, Oregon will only travel to the Bay Area schools with no return games, while the Ducks miss the arduous Mountain trip, with the only games versus Colorado and Utah coming in Eugene.

The year wraps a trip to Las Vegas for the annual Pac-12 Tournament.

Season ticket renewals are currently under way, and those fans interesting in becoming new season ticket holders may also currently sign up for an appointment to select their seats later this summer.
