Football Unveils Themes, Uniform Combinations For 2014 Home Games
TEMPE, Ariz. – The 2014 Arizona State University football home schedule will continue to include the annual Blackout Game and Maroon Monsoon, as well as a number of long-standing traditions and celebrations.
Sun Devil Athletics will honor its heritage with the annual Hall of Fame and Ring of Honor games, and show its appreciation and connection with the community and the University through its City of Tempe and ASU Faculty/Staff Night, Sun Devil Club/Junior Sun Devil Club game, Family Weekend and Homecoming.
The inaugural Sun Devils Serve game will be held against Weber State on Aug. 28, where head coach Todd Graham and the football program will host several children’s charities for the first game of the season.
The fourth annual Blackout game will be held Sept. 25 against UCLA and the third edition of the Maroon Monsoon will be on Oct. 18 against Stanford.
The Nov. 8 rematch with Notre Dame at Sun Devil Stadium will be the important Salute to Service game, which pays respect to the men and women who protect and serve our nation. Becoming a Sun Devil Football Season Ticket Holder is the only way to guarantee tickets to the game against the Fighting Irish.
For the third consecutive season, fans and ASU students will have the opportunity to choose the team’s uniform combinations for the Nov. 1 game against Utah. Voting for both the fans and students will be conducted via the web and social media.
“Sun Devil Nation, both local and across the country, from longtime season ticket holders to our Inferno student section, gave us one of the best home field advantages in college football last season,” Vice President for University Athletics Ray Anderson said. “We’re looking forward to joining our more than 60,000 friends and family members inside Sun Devil Stadium in 2014.”
Be sure to arrive early each game for the third year of Devil Walk, which begins 2 hours 30 minutes before kickoff inside Wells Fargo Arena, and features the 2014 team, the Pride of the Southwest Sun Devil Marching Band, the Spirit Squad, special videos and highlights, and more.

Season tickets are currently on sale at www.sundeviltickets.com by calling the Sun Devil Athletics Ticket Office at 480-965-5812, making an appointment with a Sun Devil Sales and Service staff member, or visiting the Sun Devil Ticket Office, located on the south end of Sun Devil Stadium. SDA will continue the rollout of on-sale dates for single-game tickets that began in 2013. The four-day plan begins four weeks before every home game, and starts with select groups on Monday and culminates with the general public on Thursday.
Sun Devil Club members will have first access to single-game tickets on the Monday of each week. Tickets will then become available to subscribers of Devils’ Insider on Tuesday and followers of Sun Devil Athletics’ social media outlets on Wednesday before being offered to the general public on Thursday.
Single-game tickets for all seven away games will go on sale Thursday, July 31, and will be available online at www.sundeviltickets.com
Use ASU’s new Mobile Delivery option and simply present your smartphone with tickets at the gate to avoid standing in line at the will call window on game day. Choose Mobile Ticketing as your preferred delivery method when ordering tickets and they are delivered as a PDF or Passbook specifically designed for smartphones, so you don’t even need to print your tickets.
The SDA Ticket Office, based on last year’s success, will once again extend its hours during football season and will be open on Saturdays from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm beginning the first weekend of August. On home football game days, the ticket office will be open from 10:00 am through the end of the third quarter. Phones will be available from 10:00 am until 4 hours prior to kick-off and fans can also continue to live chat with the Sales and Service team via thesundevils.com.
