Pac-12 Men's Basketball All-Star Team rolls past Chinese university all-stars, 73-47

SHANGHAI, CHINA - USC’s Nikola Jovanovic paced three players in double figures with 15 points and the Pac-12 Men's Basketball All-Star Team opened up its three-game slate with an easy victory over the Chinese university all-stars Wednesday, 73-47.

After only three days of practice, the Pac-12 squad did not have the cohesiveness that the Chinese team displayed during the first half. However, things changed once the second half got underway.

The Pac-12 team was firing on all cylinders in the third quarter, outscoring the Chinese group by 13 points and seizing control of the game. Bo Barnes of Arizona State and Andrew Andrews of Washington led the charge for the Pac-12 team, providing sparks off the bench. Andrews would finish with 12 points.

When the final buzzer sounded, the Pac-12 team looked very sharp statistically on both ends of the floor, shooting 55 percent, while limiting their opponents to just 35 percent.

Jeremy Olsen of Utah chipped in 12 points, while Washington State's DaVonte Lacy filled the stat sheet with eight points, eight rebounds and three assists.

The Pac-12 all-stars will be back in action Thursday night against the Jiangsu Dragons, a Chinese professional team.
