Vansant To Chat Live Via Seattle Times On Tuesday

SEATTLE - Senior All-American Krista Vansant will be participating in a live chat on the website of The Seattle Times on Tuesday starting at 12 noon. Husky fans can log on to www.SeattleTimes.com to participate and send in questions.

Vansant helped the Huskies to a 3-0 start to the season this weekend in Boise, winning the Northwest Challenge with 3-0 wins over Portland State and Boise State, and a 3-2 win over Gonzaga. Vansant was named tournament Most Valuable Player. The Huskies are ranked No. 5 in the nation and travel to Provo, Utah this week to face 10th-ranked BYU, then Utah Valley and UMBC.

A national high school player of the year out of Redlands, Calif., Vansant was the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year in 2011, a Second Team All-American in 2012, then a First Team All-American, AVCA National Player of the Year, and Honda Award winner in 2013, as the Huskies won the Pac-12 and reached the Final Four for the first time since 2006.
