“Inside Stanford Sports with David Shaw” Returns

STANFORD, Calif. – Five dates have been set for the “Inside Stanford Sports with David Shaw” radio show with the first coming Sept. 8  at 8 p.m. from Gordon Biersch in Palo Alto. All five episodes will feature Shaw and selected student-athletes, with names being released each week.

The first show features big-play wide receiver Michael Rector, inside linebacker Blake Martinez, who is coming off an impressive performance on defense and special teams against USC, and fifth-year senior Ben Rhyne, who already owns a bachelor’s degree in biomechanical engineering.

Attendees will have the chance to win game tickets, Stanford merchandise and other great prizes. Gordon Biersch will also have food and drink specials.

For those unable to attend in person, the shows will be aired on tape-delayed broadcast on Tuesdays with the first airing Sept. 9 at 8 p.m. on KNBR 1050 AM.

The other dates are Sept. 29, Oct. 20, Nov. 17 and Dec. 8.

All shows are free and open to the public starting at 8 p.m.  

KNBR will air each show on tape-delay each Tuesday night at 8 p.m. Radio dates for all five shows are Sept. 9, Sept. 30, Oct. 21, Nov. 18 and Dec. 9.
