TUCSON, Ariz. Joined with first-team honors from the Associated Press and the Walter Camp Football Foundation, he was named to all five of the required All-America teams.

Wright is Arizona’s first unanimous All-American since cornerback Chris McAlister in 1998. Linebacker Ricky Hunley in 1983, defensive back Darryl Lewis in 1990 and defensive tackles Rob Waldrop in 1993 and Tedy Bruschi in 1995 also earned unanimous All-America honors.

He also earned first-team All-America honors from USA Today, SB Nation, CBSSports.com, Scout.com and SI.com. Wright was also named National Defensive Player of the Year by SB Nation, CBSSports.com, Scout.com and Athlon Sports.

Through 13 games, Wright has 153 total tackles, 28.0 tackles for a loss, 14.0 sacks and six forced fumbles, all team highs. The Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year and a first-team all-conference selection, Wright ranks in the top five among FBS players for total tackles, tackles for loss, sacks and forced fumbles. He’s the only FBS player to rank in the top 25 of each of those categories. Further, Wright is vying to become the first player since 1999 to finish the season ranked in the top five for tackles, tackles for loss and sacks.

Additionally, redshirt junior punter Drew Riggleman earned Honorable Mention All-America honors form SI.com. He ranks No. 4 among FBS players and No. 2 in the Pac-12 in yards per punt with 46.36. He totals 69 kicks with a long of 70 and 29 kicks of 50+ yards.
