The Cougars are led by: Tyler Haws (23.8 ppg, 49.7% FG, 43.4% 3FG, 90.1% FT), Chase Fischer (13.9 ppg, 44.2% 3FG), Kyle Collinsworth (12.4 ppg, 6.6 rpg, 53 assists) ... The 12-point hole Stanford encountered against Loyola Marymount was its largest deficit overcome since last season’s December road upset of No. 10/10 Connecticut, when the Cardinal trailed 43-30 with 16:48 remaining in the second half.

Sixth-Fewest Turnovers In Nation
Stanford has excelled at taking care of the basketball, with its 85 total turnovers ranking sixth-fewest in the country. Only five schools (Cal Poly- 64, Ohio- 73, Delaware- 77, Bryant- 79, Utah State- 80) have committed fewer miscues.

Cashing In At The Charity Stripe
Stanford has placed an added emphasis this season on getting to the foul line, with a goal of 25 free throw attempts per game. The Cardinal has converted 137-184 (74.5 percent) from the charity stripe. It’s a mark that leads the Pac-12 and ranks 30th in the country ... Chasson Randle’s 42-44 clip (95.5 percent) from the line ranks fourth-best in the nation. Randle converted his first 35 freebies of the season before misfiring on the second of two attempts at the 13:14 mark of the second half against Loyola Marymount ... Stanford’s 38 made free throws and 46 free throw attempts against South Dakota on Nov. 16 were the most since a 40-47 outing against Cal State Northridge on Nov. 18, 2008 ...
