Great read here from Craig Morgan of thesundevils.com on the story behind Arizona State pitcher Ryan Hingst’s no-hitter Friday night. An issue with WiFi kept him from doing a couple of quizzes until after the game but he was able to perform well on both (and oh yeah, perform pretty well on the bump, too).

Colorado

Good news for Buffs fans – Pat Rooney reports that Colorado guard Xavier Johnson is returning to the Buffs for another year. He missed all of last year with a torn Achilles tendon.

Utah

Kevin Gemmell updates us on the Utah quarterback situation, telling us that freshman QB Tyler Huntley is equal on the depth chart to Troy Williams and Brandon Cox. It’s all about the “or.”

UCLA

Kyle Bonagura tells us that UCLA will evolve its offense to better showcase Josh Rosen’s talents. Kennedy Polamalu is the new offensive coordinator after Noel Mazzone left for the OC gig at Texas A&M.

Arizona

Adam Rittenberg of ESPN believes that Arizona basketball coach Sean Miller is one of the best coaches to never reach the Final Four. David Shaw and Chris Petersen make his football list for not reaching a BCS title game or College Football Playoff.
