THIS WEEK: Paul Salcedo, SR, F, California
• In the Bears lone game of the weekend, Paul Salcedo-Borrego lifted the Bears to a 3-2 victory over Santa Clara with a single-game career-best three-goal performance.
• Cemented the hat trick, scoring all three goals in the second half. After trailing 1-0 heading into intermission, Salcedo posted the equalizer to open scoring in the second half at the 59' mark and went on a scoring frenzy from there.
• Notched the brace in the 67' to give Cal a 2-1 lead followed by the game-winning score in the 85'.
• It was Salcedo-Borrego's first goal since 2015 and the is senior now tied for the team scoring lead.
• His performance gave Cal its fourth-consecutive win.
• 32nd all-time for California and second-career honor for Salcedo.
