23 Pac-12 student-athletes headed to 2023 NCAA Wrestling Championships

SAN FRANCISCO - The Pac-12 Conference will be well represented at the 2023 NCAA Wrestling Championships in Tulsa, with 23 student-athletes taking part in this year’s event from March 16-18.

2023 Pac-12 team champion OREGON STATE leads the Conference in NCAA selections for the second year in a row, sending seven wrestlers to the NCAA Championships. The Beavers' lineup includes 2023 Pac-12 individual champions Brandon Kaylor (125), Cleveland Belton (141), Mateo Olmos (174), Trey Munoz (184), and the 2023 Pac-12 Championships' Most Outstanding Wrestler Matthew Olguin (165). OSU is followed by 2023 Pac-12 runner-up STANFORD, which will send six wrestlers to NCAAs led by No. 6 seed Daniel Cardenas (157) and No. 9 seeds Shane Griffith (165) and Jaden Abas (149).

ARIZONA STATE and CAL POLY are collectively sending quality to the NCAAs, with four of the league's five top-5 seeded wrestlers on their lineups. The Sun Devils have No. 3 seed Kyle Parco (149), No. 4 Michael McGee (133), and No. 5 Cohlton Schultz (285) headed to the postseason, while the Mustangs' Bernie Truax is the league's highest-seeded entry at No. 2 in the 197-pound weight class.

First- and second-round championship matches begin on Thursday, March 16 and can be viewed on ESPNU. National championships will be held on Friday, March 18. Additional championship meet information can be found here
