  • Seven Cal players are hitting over .300. The Bears are hitting .289 as a team, which is third in the Pac-12. Jarren Advincula is hitting .322, which is tied for 10th in the Pac-12.
  • Monday night marked the 14th comeback win of the season for the Bears. Cal trailed 3-2 before scoring two in the seventh and a run in the eighth to secure the 5-3 win.
  • The Bears have gone 15-4 since going 9-13 from March 1-April 9. During that stretch, Cal has series victories over Washington State, No. 5 Oregon State, USC, and San Jose State.
  • The Bears have climbed up to 67 in the latest RPI rankings, which is fourth best among all Pac-12 teams.
    • Cal is 5-2 against Quad 1 teams; no other team in the conference has as many wins against Quad 1 opponents.
    • The Bears are 12-11 against Quad 1 and Quad 2 teams this season.
  • Five Cal pitchers have recorded at least four wins this season (Christian Becerra, Andres Galan, Trey Newmann, Luke Short, and Tyler Stasiowski). The five pitchers with at least four wins are the most since the 2011 season when Matt Flemer, Kyle Porter, Erik Johnson, Kevin Miller, and Dixon Anderson all won at least four games for a team that finished with 38 wins en route to an appearance in the College World Series.
