Once again, the Huskies (28-22, 18-9 Pac-12) finds themselves in a do-or-die series for their post-season lives. This week, they face a daunting test in the form of the No. 3 Stanford Cardinal (43-8, 21-6).
The Huskies entered the weekend knowing that in all likelihood they would need to win their series against the Pac-12's last-place Utah Utes (14-38, 6-21) in order to keep their NCAA post-season hopes alive. Washington clinched the series on Friday and put an exclamation point on the weekend by pounding out a season-high 20 hits and beating Utah, 13-7, to sweep the series.
